Maxi's can be a pretty swank place for a hotel bar. Not that you'd be able to tell on the average Sunday and Monday nights. That's when the place is filled with football junkies watching the game on nine TVs, while Tuesday nights feature patrons letting it all hang out with karaoke. Keep it casual: Maxi's is all about jeans, sneakers and beer. But on weekend nights, Maxi's turns into a dress-to-impress nightclub that plays mostly Top 40 music. There are two dance floors, so there's plenty of space to bust out those old '80s moves. If the music doesn't move you, there's always the billiard table.

Thank goodness for maxi's lounge. If it wasnt for there rock and roll nights on thursdays,, for 50 and older there would be no place to go for us. I am sure it wont hurt the younger people to give us one night a week. Someday they will be older and wearing polyester wishing they had a place like maxi's to go.

Safe, fun place for women. Large, not to lit up, with two dance floors. Central bar has two bartenders, service is prompt.
In a nice hotel, easy to get to.
Thursday nights features seniors, but vigorous seniors. The men are charming, the women sexy. Not a place for wallflowers.
Happy hour on Thursdays, two buck drinks, makes for an inexpensive yet invigorating evening. Wear shoes to dance in, enjoy people watching, look for mr or ms right. Maxi's is a blast for those comfortable with the above descriptions.
Older men in polyester...
This place is a bit of a senior haven. Lots of older men (60 and older) out there looking for some action. I guess some just
need to practice what they can recall of the John Travolta moves!
Regardless, it can be a fun place, and it's definitely guaranteed to provide a few good laughs.
