Several years ago I would have rated this the best food and beer made in the city. Something happened between then and now. Their beer now rates as poor. Their service is bad. The food ranges from tolerable to bad.

Not the place for an intimate dining experience but really nice for an after work get-togerther or a power lunch. Very well-crafted beers and excellent single malt Scotch selection sets the standard for this area. Food is very good but the quality of ingredients is somewhat questionable. Never had a steak there that wasn't tough and chewy. Best to stick with other menu items which can be quite pleasing. Although noisy, it still has an unique ambience.

Keep in mind that this is a pub, so it can get very loud and not the place for a romantic quiet meal. But if you want a good hearty meal, you have come to the right place. My personal favorite is the trout with black beans and avocado...unbelievably delicious! Always ask for some beer bread, they don't bring it without asking sometimes. Service has always been good and is a busy place for lunch during the weekdays and after work.
