The Free Times named Dianne's the "Best Overall Dining Experience" in Columbia. No arguments here. Virtually everything here is cooked to perfection and the atmosphere -- casual without sacrificing elegance -- is ideal for any occasion. The pastas at Dianne's are simply divine, especially the Linguine alla Fruitti di Mare, Pasta Prudencia and Fettuccine Dianne, all swimming with fresh shellfish. The menu features a wide variety of Italian entrees such as chicken marsala, trout piccata and veal saltimbocca, all of which go fabulously with the live music Tuesday through Saturday. There is also a private dining room, which can fit up to 45 people, and outdoor tables for patio dining.

Superior dining
I'm not sure why one review was negative but it is rare that you would get bad service there, that is not the norm. They are fairly expensive but you do get what you pay for in this case. Excellent food and service from my experience.

Superior food and service. Friendly atmosphere with knowledigable servers. Always our choice for special occasions and not so special ones.
