Founder Sadie "Mama" Tronco introduced pizza to Columbia 53 years ago. Today, Villa Tronco's staff of Mama's children and grandchildren stays true to her legacy by serving the same homemade pizza (cut into squares) and other authentic Italian dishes in a restored Colonial building recently declared a historic landmark. Regarded as the place to go for pasta in Columbia, Villa Tronco has a varied menu and generous portions of the stuff. Be sure to save room for dessert, though, as you won't want to pass up a slice of turtle pie or one of five flavors of cheesecake.

I have been going to Villa Tronco for ever. I am 48 years and I can remember shopping in Tapps across the street with my parents and then going to eat there. It surely is a landmark of Columbia and still to this day offers the best food and friendly service anywhere. The food is fantastic and presented so well.
Keep up the tradition of being the "Best in Columbia." You can bet I will be there!

I've been going to Villa Tronco for over 25 years. When I started going there, Mama Tronco was still there. Even though she has gone, her food lives on. Best in town.
wonderful food and service
We had our son's rehearsal dinner there and all our guests loved the food and the atmosphere. The owners are wonderful people and the service is always excellent. The food can't be beat.
