The food is excellent, the atmosphere is excellent, the people are absolutely wonderful. You would think you are dining in Italy. The building is an old firehouse and is in uptown Columbia. Anyone who misses dining here has missed a lot. I love it.

The best of the best! Takes me back to my childhood days in Little Italy, N.Y.C.. Dad used to cut Mama Tronco's hair and the children also. Have been eating there for 40 years and NEVER disappointed! Can depend on the food to always be delicious. Restaurant has been running for many yrs. whereas so many come and go when a new one comes along and people want to try it. The service is good. It is convenient for lunch for those working downtown and pretty close for a lot of us from where we live. They have an extensive wine selection. Our city's downtown has become a popular place to live. There are apts. and condos over bldgs., and a very nice residential area nearby. It is good to see downtown making a comeback after being rather "dead" at nighttime. It's a restaurant one can depend on.
