The Worst Service in the Universe

I visited Basi yesterday and enjoyed the finest italian meal in a longtime. The food deserved the best rating, the service from the front door to the patio was the worst. I had the displeasure to have a server named Dave who has absolutley no business being a server. The man is on auto pilot and has never heard of customer service. Dave will do well in a military enviroment. It is a shame as the service "washed away" the good tasting food.

don't use the valet

I live a block away from Basi and the parking is a problem. The signs around Basi all state "please respect our neighbors, use the valet" however the valet service parks on the streets around the restaurant. If you visit, use the Giant Eagle parking lot. It is one block away and (despite what the signs would have you think) they do not tow. I've had friends park there for several days. Don't pay $4 plus tip just to have them park on our neighborhood streets.
