Bier Stube   

Been going to the Stube for years. Great nachos and subs. Great place to watch college and pro football. They have all the games.

I've literally been to thousands of bars all across America and The Bier Stube in Columbus Ohio is in THE TOP FIVE!!!!! For the past year and a half I have been crushed because i was informed that The Stube had been bull-dozed to make way for some construction. I will attach an epitaph that I wrote in remembrance. I can't even explain how happy I am that THE STUBE IS ALIVE!!! Here it is->These places are so hard to find. Granted , it's not the prettiest place, but it had that feeling of being genuine. Of security and warmth like your own living room or something. Or a tree house when we were kids that only you and your friends were allowed in, a place where you could say anything and do anything without ever worrying what your neighbor thought. (because they frankly didn't give a shit) it was like when you walked in and were behind that front door and inside The Stube, you were safe from everything outside in the real world including REALITY. It felt like home and everybody just let everybody else be themselves. And, (this is the teary part) almost everyone in there absolutely loved to drink heavily !!!!!!!!!! A place where the guy or gal serving you was quite likely to be far more drunk than you..... A true institution of Americana that will forever be missed by it's family members that graced it's floors and knew of it's charms........... :-(

come on, this place is a dive. its great for cheap ass beer, but not for watching football or anything else, unless its 21 yr old chicks. go here to drink, do not go here for sports
