The best Happy Hour in Cols
Cant beat the prices and Happy Hour runs until 9
Every Saturday from here on
Last Saturday was the first time I have been out in awhile and my friends and I decided to go a Blue Jackets game, the Blue Jackets lost but we all still wanted to go out. We were told to walk between a couple of buildings and check out a series of bars located in the same area. The first bar we arrived at was Brothers Bar and there was a few people in line but we didnt wait to get in very long at all. The guy checking out IDs asked us how we were doin and then proceeded to tell us to have a good time. The crowd was reasonable earlier in the night and proceeded to get larger into the night. At first I was getting drinks from the bar and the bartenders were getting them fast, however the as the night procrest the crowd got larger and the wait increased a small amount, understandably. We were sitting at a table and the security keep picking up all the empty bottles and glasses almost as we were putting them down and that kept the cluder to a minimum. They also have ladies just selling beer as you walk in and around the bar, only bad thing is that all I had was a credit card and they didn't except those so if all you drink is beer your best bet is to make sure you have cash so you don't have to wait at the bar. We we were leaving the security guys at the entrance told us to have a good night and be safe getting home while holding the door open for us. Overall I had a blast at Brothers Bar and the whole staff was very friendly and curtious. I will continue to go there whenever I get a chance to head to the arena district.
Best. Bar. Ever.
Brothers is the perfect place to go out for a few drinks, whether its happy hour where all drinks are half off from 4-9, or if you wanna stay late on thursday(mug night), friday(busy) or Saturday(really busy). The bar itself is huge, usually staffed with 10+ bartenders, all knowing every drink u want. I had no problem at the door, the bouncers were fast but thorough and wished me to have a good time. The girls are very pretty, and the bouncers inside do their job well. there are not many fights there but the ones i have seen have been handled by the bouncers and the special duty cops they have outside all night. Brothers is in a great location, its near OSU but not too close. its also 21 and up so no stupid kids there. Brothers is my favorite place to hang out, drink good, reasonably priced drinks and meet cool, young, attractive people. COME OUT TO BROTHERS, IM SURE YOU'LL SEE ME THERE!!!
Best college bar in town
Some friends and I were wanting to go out for sometime after the start of the quater at near by Ohio State. When finally all our schedules allowed us to go out at the same time, it was time to hit the town. We all decided on Brothers and took the 10 minute cab ride from campus to the Arena District. We walked up on Brothers to be greeted by the bouncers at the front door with a "how you guys doin' tonight." I don't see what everyone is talking about when they say that the bouncers here are the racist bunch of ass holes that you should never come in contact with. We had NO problems getting in and we even had three black guys with us. I stood there and talked to one bouncer for a minute about rugby and how he used to play, like i did. Once we all got in we were greeted again by a cute server selling beer from the front beer tub, another thing about Brothers that all my friends came to the conclusion of is that its staffed with some of the hottest girls i've ever seen work at a bar - and some of the hottest girls in the city were there to have a good time. We had no trouble from the bartenders who got us what we wanted with little wait, i might add that the wait did increase as the night went on, but that place gets PACKED to the rim with people on a friday night, so the wait didn't really piss me off considering how many people they were trying to serve. Good prices on everything, with the most expensive shot in the house only 5 bucks. The dance floor was jumpin to the beat of the best dance music in the city - not to mention the fire pit on the patio kept all of us warm while we were outside for the much needed smoke breaks. We all had a great time at Brothers and plan to go back often, as i would tell anyone who asked me where to go out on a Friday or saturday night.
