Rate and Write a Review In the late 1800s, Columbus Music Hall was known as Engine House No. 12. Today the red brick structure with its arched windows and distinguished tower stokes the creative flames of talented musicians. These can range from weekly jazz sessions with locals and ensemble "regulars" to scheduled performances of professional touring groups and individual artists such as rockabilly singers and songwriters Katy Moffatt and Rosie Flores; Irish tunesmiths Smyth, Cooney and Foley; and guitarist and melodist Michael Fracasso. The calendar changes often, so check the website for offerings and dates. With restored pine woodwork, brass chandeliers and in-house sound system and bar set-up, the spacious interior will accommodate a variety of entertainments. The Victorian garden complete with gazebo creates an elegant setting during the warm months as well. So should you be on the lookout for a spot for your next party, meeting, wedding or poetry slam, this hot spot might very well be available.
