Imperial Garden Restaurant   

If you are looking for the authentic Chinese food, you should come to Imperial Garden. We have visited it many times and were impressed by its food each time. Its menu consists of many authentic Chinese dishes. Not like many other Chinese restaurants that have “Americanized” their menu, this is a real deal! We love this restaurant!

I went here because a friend had said the Ma Po Tofu (sp?) was the best he ever had. However -- I was a little scared after reading the "Beware the Empty Parking Lot" posting. I thought it was safe because the parking lot was fairly full -- but almost turned around and went home when I saw the restaurant was empty. I decided to be brave and order the Ma Po Tofu and the Salt and Pepper Pork Cutlet from the "real" chinese menu and indeed my friend was right -- the Ma Po Tofu is to die for (if you like spicy). And the Salt and Pepper Pork Cutlet and rice were perfect too. The wonton soup was also very good although not as good as the other 2 dishes. I went back two weeks later for the same stuff but the waitress talked me into the Peppercorn Pork which was another winner. So my recommendation is if you like authentic chinese food -- don't be put off by empty parking lots or restaurants and order only from the "real chinese" menu.
