Those wanting a taste of France without the attendant expense and jet lag might want to make this a culinary stopover. The charming interior is reminiscent of a chalet and consists of wooden chairs and tables, stone and brick accents, and zippy European music. Choose from several intimate cafe-like rooms (and an outdoor patio, when the weather permits). Breakfast and lunches are served-up cafeteria style, while dinners are sit-down affaires. Expect a casual menu for the first two -- beignets, croissants, eggs, and omelettes in addition to soups, salads, and specialty and baguette sandwiches. Dinner options range from filet of salmon in chervil sauce to beef bourgiugnon to ratatouille provencale with pasta, all with choice of soup or salad. You might want to leave room for the piece d'resistance, though: desserts that include fabulous-looking fruit-topped pastries, eclairs and Texas-sized muffins. But no matter when you visit, conversation is animated, wine is in evidence and it's almost always an out-of-Columbus experience.
