Light Nightclub   

What do a disco ball, colorful bar waterfall and "art menu" have in common? They exist, albeit harmoniously, at Light Columbus, a dance club-cum-restaurant that can be a lot of things to many people. By day, it's a full-service eatery with widely spaced tables, two bars and ever-changing art on the walls (you can actually purchase the art). By night, it evolves into a sound-and-light spectacular that packs in folks of all ages looking to strut their stuff. The open, two-story design and supersize floor allow plenty of room to move freely without knocking into people. All this is lubricated by an extensive menu of martinis and specialty libations, as well as several beers on tap for those who'd rather not pony up $8 to $9 for mixed drinks. Expect to dress to impress -- tennis shoes, ripped jeans, "hoodies," and other unspiffy attire may leave you smarting even before you set foot inside. But if you look sloppy, you might end up being a wallflower anyway.
