Old Mohawk Restaurant   

G. Michael has a real treasure here. I love this place. They forgot to mention the Mother Mohawk sandwich. Half-Chicken salad, half Roast Beef with delicious cheese on grilled rye. I hope I remember it right. It sounds weird, but tastes incredible. Pure creative Genius. I haven't had one in awhile due to a diet, but man I miss them. Service is quick enough for a business lunch. But sometimes they are packed out the door.

Last week I went to the Olde Mohawk with a friend of mine visiting from New York. The restaurant was recommended by people at the visitors center who said it was good. Well they were wrong...it was great! A great local beer selection and a menu with something for everyone. We decided to share our meals and it was even separated onto separate plates for us in the kitchen. We had the spinach salad with portobello mushrooms and the bratwurst. Both were excellent. I can't wait to get back there again!

Comfort food, comfort staff, waiting on tired people; and--nice babes; an institution to carry on forever. DBSTOCK
