Jack & Benny's   

A favorite spot of students and trendies on a budget, Jack & Benny's is a great place to get stuffed until you drop. The omelettes include standard three-cheese and vegetable versions, as well as some unique varieties, such as those with apple bits or spicy chorizo sausage. Pancakes come in a variety of flavors, from multigrain to chocolate to coconut. Much of the menu is a la carte, so you can order as many eggs and sides as you want, depending on your budget or appetite. Try house specialties such as Benny's Mom and Jack's Dad (oh, we hope no one pulled a Hannibal Lecter here), a steak-cum-pork chop dish and corned beef hash, respectively. Lunch, which starts after 11AM and is only served during the week, includes burgers, sandwiches and hot dogs, as well as a few salads and soups. Located in an old building with funky wooden floors and walls plastered with OSU and other sports memorabilia, Jack & Benny's a real trip down greasy-spoon lane.
