There are no books at this campus Library. An icon all its own on OSU's High Street bar-hopping strip, the Library has been around so long that it is hosting a second generation of college students scamming their parents with tales of the long hours they spent among its fictional stacks. Choose the ground floor to hang out with the livelier crowd and play pool, foosball, shuffle bowling or the Mega Touch or Cruisin' World games; or head to the basement for free darts, some cool vintage pinball, and a little more quiet. Both floors serve alcohol. The happy hour specials are some of the best on campus and run up until 9PM (late by OSU standards), with house liquor shots for a buck, and pitchers of beer as low as $3.25. The college mantra of quantity not quality holds up here. A few other things you wont find in the OSU library: occasional live bands, dancing and five good sized television sets with a cheering and jeering college football crowd gathered whenever there is a game on.

The library has a lot going for it.. this is one of the original bars on the High street strip in the OSU campus. With all the new venues (The Schott, and the OSU Stadium renovation) the Library is close and convenient to campus happenings. Excellent and eclectic jukebox ranging from Sinatra to the Grateful Dead to LimpBizkit. Bartenders are friendly and attentive. The owner, Cricket is a walking sports encyclopedia as are many of the regular bartenders. (Ask Mark about Canadian Walleye fishing) Local bands will pop in for occasional shows, and sometimes headliners at the Newport like CheapTrick will pop in after their show for a cold one. 5+ good sized TV's well placed and all tuned to sports games, great place to watch Ohio sports on TV. One of the best places to go for an OSU Michigan game.
