Marshall's Restaurant   

When you have a hankering for home cooking but just don't want to dirty up the dishes, dirty the ones at Marshall's of Grandview instead. Formerly known as Chris' of Grandview (it passed on from father to son in 1999), the restaurant combines comfort food with class. You'll never leave hungry or broke -- the smiling waitstaff serves entrees quickly, and the portions are huge and underpriced. Greasy spoon-style breakfasts of omelets, bacon, biscuits and home fries give way to plate lunches -- from fish n' chips to beef with homemade noodles -- at 11AM. The bar, separated from the restaurant by a stone wall and an enormous aquarium, opens around 2:30PM and serves outstanding pub fare -- pizzas, sandwiches, burgers and the like -- until the wee hours. No wonder the parking lot has been full for the better part of 15 years.
