And the environment works even better when friendly folks, many of them regulars, are served by waitresses who call everyone "hon." Tommy's Diner, owned since 1989 by Tommy and Kathy Pappas, provides you home-style food at an inexpensive price. They also serve a good lunch, whether you're looking for a jumbo burger and fries, a belly-filling gyro, a bowl of meaty chili or a thick milk shake. The Greek-inspired diner has long been popular with the downtown working crowd, and with COSI just a couple of blocks away, you can be sure Tommy's will always keep its tables full.

As good as it gets!
So sorry, I meant to give a 5 star, I guess I wasn't paying attention. Too excited to tell you about this place. Lol!
Greek Village Salad
Eat that at breakfast nearly every time I go in. No one else eats salad for breakfast but it is very good. I grew up in the middle east and we did not eat meat at breakfast, just eggs, cheese, bread and veggies. Have never had a bad meal there. Like the women who work there. They are all nice and sexy to boot. (I am old so I may get a bit of guff on that judgement. Love those women.)
