Country Life Vegetarian Buffet   

I go there for their salad bar and chili. Fabulous. Some of their entrees are iffy to me. I experiment on occassion, but I think it is either you love it or hate it. Its a 7th Adventist restaurant, so do realize there are no animal products used at all. That being said, when you eat the chili, you will NOT be able to tell you are not eating meat.

the salad bar is miniscule and lacking greatly! jasons deli has one of the best salad bars around, far more interesting and delicious veggies and dressings. and as the cooked food there GROSS!!! the casseroles are bland( looking and tasting) and quite frankly look like food for a pig pen. some of the best vegetarian food can be had at tgifridays they have a great angelhair pasta with grilled vegetables and marinated portabella. they have some fancy veggetarian sandwiches too they really surprised me with their attention to the veggie lovers. this place is great to buy groceries but NOT to eat at. if the stuff they served was all vegans could eat it would make a meat eater out of any vegan.

A buffet implies a choice. The only choices here are.... take it or leave it. Poor selections, poor presentation, poor atmosphere (Sorry NO atmosphere). And if I wanted to meet people with poor customer service skills and bad attitudes, I can could go to Walmart. Avoid unless staving. And if you are starving just eat some lawn clippings, you will thank youself later.
