With cups and tablecloths made of plastic, this Padre Island Italian is so no-frills that at first glance, you'd be shocked at the high price tag attached to some of their entrees. But once the food arrives, everything will make sense. The portions at Island Italian are not just generous (as the menu suggests), they're huge, and the pasta, steak, chicken and seafood dishes are good enough to warrant spending twice as much. Stop by on a weekend night and enjoy some live entertainment.

IT WILL NEVER BE THE SAME
Since Tag passed away and Joyce is never there, its just not the ole Island Italian. Not to mention that Patsy is not with us anymore either. Maybe we will get to go to the II in the Sky.
Good Stuff!!
My first time out to Island Italian my family and I recieved outstanding service. Depite the rush, we were happily greeted promptly. The pizza and pasta were delicious. I highly recommend to anyone in the Corpus Christi area.
Don't Go Into The Kitchen
Out of all the fantastic Italian food restaurants, this place is last on my list. If you want great pizza, go to Panjos, or B&J's. Island Italian is over priced, and under cleaned! I have had the displeasure of being in the kitchen of that restaurant once before, and since then I have made it my mission to tell anyone that asks that Island Italian is a spit in the eye of my Italian heritage! You are better off at FrankÂs Spaghetti House, or any of the cookie-cutter chains in this town!
Good Food
We've eaten at Island Italian several times and the food was always good. The portions are huge, especially the chicken parmesan - enough for another meal to take home! Prices are not too high - especially for the portions. The chianti is good also!
