Situated quite neatly within Crescent Court, the 80-year-old Bice (pronounced bee-chay) empire has rolled out the red carpet and is ready to feed the elite a sophisticated brand of Il Mulino-esque Italian cuisine. With several locations in Florida plus New York, Chicago, Tokyo and Milan, it could be considered a feather in the cap to get a Bice here in Texas. Raffaele Ruggeri is the head man at this super-modern, extravagantly designed space. Glossy hardwood floors sprawl throughout with a combination of light and dark woods, brass and marble. The menu offers familiar dishes like eggplant parmigiana and perfectly treated beef tenderloin. The salmon and tuna carpaccio top a solid fish selection. Go nuts with a decadently long wine list, and be seen at the newest "it" spot.
