Homemade brews are the main attraction at this Deep Ellum pub, evidenced by the huge copper tanks and the immense bar that dominates the brewery. The drinks are cheap, too. The kitchen turns out better-than-average fare from a diverse menu that features pizza, Tex-Mex, pasta dishes, seafood and burgers. If that isn't enough to entertain you, there are pool tables, darts and video games, too. Not surprisingly, the clientele is as varied as the brews they serve, with young and old, students and professionals bellying up to the bar or shooting pool. -- Kathryn Jones
