You'll know exactly which door to walk into when you head down to Designs East Florist and Interior. Though the shop is packed away in a shopping center, the storefront is made up of a huge glass window that looks directly into one of the store's coolers. Once inside, you will be immediately greeted by the smell of fresh-cut flowers. There's no cutting corners at Designs East. The shop's stock, mostly made up of roses, is bought directly from growers and brought in on a daily basis. The only way to get fresher flowers would be to pick them at the Arboretum, and you'll get in trouble for that. Design's East will deliver flowers anywhere, but special attention is paid to walk-in customers, so it pays to check out the 700 square-foot shop. The folks here like giving locals good deals, so if you have a wedding or party to decorate, Designs East should be one of your first stops.
