House of Blues   

Tonight I had dinner with a few out-of-town friends visiting those of us in town. It was my first trip to the downtown Dallas site. The weather was beautiful as we sat outside waiting...and waiting...and...well, you get the idea for our dinner. Had a professor in from texas A&M with his pilot date, a local lawyer friend, a Highland Park coaching friend and his wife, my wife and I. NEXT TIME I'll make sure to see a show. The SERVICE was absolutely terrible, inconsiderate and without a basic level of competency. Does NO ONE have to go through training at your place. Luckily, the 90 minute wait we were told turned out to be less (we had the opportunity to look around the premises). At least the food was decent. HOWEVER, not being able to get together very often with so many old, good friends our dining experience did NOT enhance our gathering. "Hunger is The BEST sauce..." as my grandmother use to say so maybe your food wasn't as good as I thought. Filled the pit in my stomach though. Nothing got better either. Was busy when we first got waited on, less when we were FINALLY served and just plain empty as we were cashing out. Took over 20 minutes to get dessert, too! On top of all that your less
