A long time Park Cities breakfast spot, Kuby's bustles with dirndl-dressed kellnerinnen serving up authentic German house specials. Kasseler rippchen (double-smoked pork chops) and several schnitzel plates, pork and chicken, top the local favorites. Watching piled-high reubens being eaten by others have you drooling as you wait for your triple order of plump bratwursts. Everything is served with a healthy helping of kraut, a mound of red cabbage and that ever-sumptuous German potato salad. All of the authentic recipes are straight from the German culture. There's not one thing on the menu you wouldn't want to try -- it's all tempting and the prices aren't outrageously inexpensive. Dessert specialty? You guessed it: German cherry chocolate cake.
