Since 1983, the Lounge at the Landmark Inwood Theater has been serving up drinks to partygoers and moviegoers alike. Positioned in the open and airy left side of the theater's lobby near the entrance, the Lounge was recently renovated and given a fresher look. The sprawling murals and furniture appointments give the space a '40s retro feel and the small, cascading waterfall is unusually soothing. There are a several booths in the back of the bar that are perfect for quiet conversation and sipping on the signature martinis. The majority of those that frequent the Lounge are there purely for the unique bar experience, while others grab a cocktail before or after a show. Impress Dallas interlopers with a swing by this cool hangout and show them that there's more to the Dallas nightlife than the staid collection of dance clubs, pubs and sports bars.
