The Place at Perry's is award winning featuring exclusively aged prime beef and a variety of fresh seafood selections. Excellent Food/Service but Watch your Credit Card Charges for the Bill

This was our 6th visit to Perry's and our third New Year's Eve. As expected they were busy and needed over 30 minutes to seat us even though the four of us arrived early for our 745pm reservation. The food and service were as expected, excellent. The atmosphere was noisy with the party at the table next to us getting into the noisemakers early. But being New Year's Eve we totally enjoyed everything from the calamari, the steaks and seafood to the chocolate fudge cake and ice cream dessert. We paid our bill and left to enjoy the remainder of the evening elsewhere. On January 3rd, I reviewed my credit charges online and noticed that the Perry's charge was increased by a couple of dollars. Apparently, the tip I left was not adequate. I called Perry's leaving a message for the manager to call to discuss this but so far my call hasn't been returned.

From the time we walked into the door, to the time we sat down at the table, the service and atmosphere was wonderful. The staff makes you feel important and are eager to please. I can't say enough good things about the food, some of the best we have ever tasted. It is cooked to perfection, large portions, and appealing presentation. The chicken fried steak is the best in Texas and their seafood is perfection. The desserts melt in your mouth. We will be back, time and time again. It's a great place to bring guests.
