Romano's Macaroni Grill   

This place is excellent! I love Macaroni Grill because it serves good food at good prices, and THAT'S what it's all about! Add to that, the prompt, professional service, and the light and airy decor, and you have a real winner. Fo starters, may I recommend the Portabello or Chicken Calzonettos. Frshly made and stuffed with mushrooms, mozzarella, roasted red peppers etc. Split one or it becomes dinner! Their version of 'mozzarella sticks' are not really sticks at all, but they are also good--esp the fresh pesto served with it. The Bruschetta here is surprisingly not very good and should be avoided. As for the entrees, try the Chicken Marsala, which is excellently cooked with portabella mushrooms. Or one of the wood fired pizzas. The BBQ chicken one is my favorite, but the Napoli is good too. Servers write their names upside down and backwards on your table, and the wine is served on the honor code system. You tell them how many glasses you had. Works for me. Macaroni Grill is MILES ahead of The Olive Garden. Job well done!
