Round-Up Saloon   

Since 1980, the Round-Up Saloon has been one of the most popular gay bars in Dallas. It's earned that reputation over the years with fast and friendly service, a quality rotation of music (although it's predominantly country) and some of the best pageants and competitions in town. Competitions like "Dallas' Hottest Cowboy" allow the men to strut their stuff while "Miss Round-Up USA" gives the city's best drag queens a moment in the spotlight. The Round-Up has a spacious interior and boasts six separate bars including the Parlor Bar, The Chute Bar, The Tool Shed Bar and the Horseshoe Bar. The clientele usually includes a sizeable straight crowd who come out to see the pomp and circumstance of a well-done pageant and to do a little boot scootin' of their own in a fun and fast-paced environment that welcomes people from all walks of life.
