Declining food quality and attention to detail had many people saying ''TGIG'' (Thank God It's Gone) to the longtime Park Lane and Central resident T.G.I. Fridays. In its place, a keen, hip and bold new spot called Sherlock's Baker Street Pub & Grill. As you might expect, Sherlock's is modeled after old English pubs of centuries gone by with many modern accoutrements and twists to appease the MTV generation. Distressed woods and dart boards compliment the Golden Tee machines, flat screen TVs and other 21st century innovations. Alongside a slew of draft beer selections, a menu offers familiar American choices with not-so-familiar items like the British sausage rolls with British sausage in a puff pastry served with spicy mustard and Branston pickle sauce, or try the Shepherd's pie (ground sirloin with veggies, topped with cheddar cheese with a mashed potato crust.) And we'd be remiss if we didn't mention the fabulous fish 'n' chips.
