You know you're in the right place if you're greeted by brightly colored, naked manikins, a giant spider-web mural and an actual, full-size commode in the front entry. That sets the tone for the rest of the decor, which includes a bar painted with eyeballs, a psychedelic tunnel and skull candle holders. This eclectic Deep Ellum bar also boasts a digital jukebox, video games, an Elvira pinball machine and live fire-eaters. Upcoming live music will feature the Midget Whores, Sleazy Mancini, Riverboat Gamblers, Funeral Drive and other gothabilly, Tiki, psychobilly, punk, death-rock and garage genre entertainers. Spider Babies might be worth a look just for the curiosity value, even if you're not into its bizarre party scene. Cover charges apply only for live music. -- Gary Taylor
