If Dallas ever had a Latino nightclub to call its own, Status was its -- and still is. This place has been around since the 80s. True, it was under another name then. But what has not changed are the droves of people that flock to this downtown nightclub every weekend. Some people will tell you its the music that brings them out. Others will say its the availability of prime cuts of human flesh. Still, others will say its their craving for the famous watermelon margaritas. We say its all of those things. -- John Vega

THE MUSIC PLAYED AND IT'S LOCATION, IN DOWNTOWN DALLAS ARE INTRIGUING! THE CLUB'S ATMOSPHERE'S GREAT! I'M LATINO, AND MY ASIAN, ITALIAN, AND CAUCASIAN FRIENDS AGREE WITH ME, THAT THIS IS A GREAT PLACE TO DANCE LATIN MIDNIGHT RHYTHMS, WITHOUT VISITING MIAMI OR THE CARRIBEAN.
