In ShortBrick walls, wooden tables and chairs, and a welcoming waitstaff greet patrons at this hangout. Two pool tables upstairs, 10 big-screen televisions and a Golden Tee machine add to the laid-back feel. Lunch and dinner menu options are typical salads, sandwiches and chicken baskets; appetizers include quesadillas, fried mozzarella and spicy wings. Drink choices are notable--40 bottled beer choices, 16 drafts and 11 varieties of wine.

great food/great music
A great place to meet friends and listen to local talent. The food is much better than you would ever expect at a neighborhood bar and grill. City Tavern is fast becoming "the place" to hang out in downtown Dallas.
