This is the listener's venue in the DFW area. Devoted to acoustic folk and located in a church (the "Uncle" is strait-laced John Calvin), UCCH provides an alcohol-free, hear-a-pin-drop-quiet place to catch mid-level touring artists of that type and boasts a warm, enthusiastic vibe born out of a common passion. Light snacks and refreshments are available.

There is no better place to be to listen to new and established singer/song writers. If you have been to the Kerville Folk Music Festival, you will feel at home at Uncle Calvin's. I love this place. Best place to volunteer and meet people while doing good for the community. Ask about volunteering on Friday Nites. The best way to end your week and hear excellent music.
