In ShortDwarfed by the brick canyon of the southern tip of West End, the pub door opens onto a photo-lined foyer. The dark wooden floor, honey-oak bar, etched glass and comfortable chairs convey authenticity while the bartender greets newcomers as warmly as he does the most welcome regular. Meat for sandwiches is sliced fresh daily for popular sandwiches like house-specialty chicken salad, French dip roast beef and the pub stack (corned beef, sauerkraut and Swiss cheese).
