Located in North Dallas (in the spot formerly occupied by Sushi Shuttle), Asian Mint describes itself as an Asian fusion cafe and dessert bar. This one-stop-shop is comprised of a full restaurant, dessert bar and bakery. Armed with unique amenities like wi-fi connections, the ambience is very contemporary and comfortable. The Asian-fusion eatery portion offers a plethora of sashimi (five pieces) and maki rolls (6-8 pieces) as well as crowd-pleasers like the seafood platter, a combo of appetizers like calamari, crab cake, shrimp and summer rolls. Main courses include the three-flavored pan-fried sea bass and grilled salmon curry. The dessert bar and bakery carefully prepares what the owners refer to as "tiny, jewel-like Thai specialties" on top of traditional Western pastries, cookies and cakes. With moderate prices to go with the moderately sized portions at Asian Mint, it's well worth going out on a limb to drop by this progressive concept spot.

OMG!!! Can I get enough
By LUVSUZQ on 07/11/2008
On my resent visit to the Asian Mint, I was capture my the food that left me a lost for words. Me and my lunch mate could not even carry on a good conversation becasue we were concentrating on the Fried Calamari. I had some good Calamari but this was the first time I wanted to finish eating it even those our meals had arrived. the Pad Thai is the best and I finished the meal with Manderian Orange cake that is so good you don't want to share. Nikki must give me the recipe. I'm not a big Thai person but the Mint has my business for life. Eat there and you will not be disappointed. Susan
