Frankie's Sports Bar & Grill   

When a joint describes itself as a bar and grill -- particularly when it's a sports bar -- "grill" usually means burgers and nachos. At Frankie's, you can get all of that stuff, but you can also get fresh seafood, lamb, duck and a number of other gourmet dishes. That said, Frankie's still manages to be a cool, fun, laid-back place: just what you would expect from a sports bar. The bar is stocked with plenty of beers on tap, and if they don't have what you want there, they probably have it in the bottle. Televisions hang from every corner of Frankie's bar. During games, you will see jersey-wearing fans howling and hooting at the TVs and at each other. The bar also contains dozens of pool tables, so you can create a little of your own live competition. The bartenders and waitresses are friendly, and regulars are called by name all the way down the bar. Things get busiest with the after-work crowds and during big games. -- Bryan Lindsey
