Rate and Write a Review The sparkling marquee at the Granada Theater on Lower Greenville has served as a beacon for all those seeking quality entertainment for more than 50 years. Originally a movie theater, classics like 'Ben Hur' and 'Rebel Without a Cause' debuted at the Dallas landmark. These days it serves as a live music venue for acts both big and small. From up and coming local acts to accomplished artists like Bob Dylan, the Granada has played host to them all. With about 600 seats or so, including a small balcony, the cozy confines make for an intimate concert-going experience. Large murals of Tinseltown's favorite sons and daughters line the walls on either side of the aisles while the small stage is elevated and fitted with tract and strobe lighting. With Snuffers located right next door to the Granada, Dallasites have been doing dinner and a movie (and now concert) here for decades.
