Oceanaire Seafood Room   

If you're looking for a romantic restaurant for that special dinner or celebration, look no further than Oceanaire Seafood Room. Located in the Westin Galleria, the interior of this charming restaurant calls to mind the 1930s and 1940s with dim lighting, red leather seats, wood accents and soft jazz music playing in the background. While the decor may be retro, the menu is not. Oceanaire offers more than 30 varieties of in-season fresh seafood, all flown in daily, from Halibut T-Bone Steak and Arctic Char to Copper River Salmon and Bluefin Tuna. The 10-seat oyster bar is always a favorite with a dozen varieties to choose from. Although this is primarily a seafood restaurant, a handful of other meat choices are included on the menu as well. If you're planning a particularly romantic evening, ask to sit in the more intimate upstairs section that overlooks the main dining room. For group functions and parties, private rooms are also available. Reservations are strongly recommended for dinner and required for large groups. -- Kimberly Williams
