Terrazzo floors, pink marble-topped tables, Oriental rugs, paintings by the masters hung casually on the walls -- if you weren't greeted by a pretty blonde with a Texas drawl, you might think you'd been whisked off to Italy. That's precisely the idea behind Patrizio. The garden terrace strives to block out the big-city feel (and parking-lot view) with a gurgling fountain, lush trees and an ivy-covered, iron gate. The restaurant's address is an indication of the kind of people you'll find at Patrizio. Shoppers spill in after a hard day at Chanel and Prada; Park Cities residents stop by for a long lunch or quick dinner. Management says 85 percent of customers are regulars, attracted by quality food and prices even a miser would love. The menu is mainstream, with nothing so fancy as to intimidate. Spaghetti, ravioli, ziti and lasagna are all safe, but flavorful -- sort of like the bar traffic. -- Allison Hatfield

My Favorite Restaurant!
By JFDSR56 on 07/17/2008
Patrizio is my favorite restaurant. I really enjoy the food, wine list, atmosphere, management personnel and waitstaff there. The food quality is always consistently great. I have been a weekly lunch and dinner customer at Patrizio since the day it opened in Highland Park Village.

Location, Location

What a joke this place is. I've lived in PC for over thirty years and ended up here with friends from out of town......no place else to go on short notice. At first glance, you think this could be a gem, but no way. Too loud, really mediocre food at best. The location and valet parking are great. I've been to a few of the "chain" Italian places that start with M and C and they are far better in food quality, variety of choice, and price. Don't waste your time here. Go find a local place in a strip center with checkered table clothes and you'll be happier. Plus, the wine will be cheaper and just as good.
