Inspired by the distinct west Tennessee style of barbecue, Red Hot & Blue promises only the best quality barbecue in restaurants spread across North Texas and the nation. The specialty is pork shoulder and pork ribs, but they also serve a wide variety of other dishes such as chicken salads, brisket and turkey sandwiches, Brunswick Stew, and the standard baked beans and potato salad. The ribs are served wet (basted with a tomato based sauce) or dry (brushed with a spicy herb mixture) and are hickory smoked for hours. Red Hot & Blue also offers lunch specials including all-you-can-eat stew, as well as catering and take out services. Most locations have a full service bar and a happy hour on weekdays. -- Kimberly Williams

Braavo. Dry ribs to perfection. PULLED pork juicy. Beans have a very distinct barbque flavor. Superior!!

I use to eat at the one in Annapolis, MD all the time. I recently moved to the Dallas-Fort Worth area and I was delighted to find out there is a Red, Hot & Blue in the area. I must say though, just like in MD, the food portions are getting smaller and not as nice. So, if you've been eating there for years, you might agree. I ate at the one off of Hulen, and I must say that I like the atmosphere better in MD. The one here was a bit more modern and didn't go well with their Tennessee style (southern) look.

Any place that throws cole slaw on an otherwise acceptable barbeque sandwich should be avoided like the plague.
