Shinsei Restaurant   

Apparently Lynae Fearing and Tracy Rathburn, wives of celebrated Dallas chefs Dean Fearing (The Mansion on Turtle Creek) and Kent Rathburn (Abacus, Jasper's) are telling their husbands, "Anything you can do, I can do better." The two first ladies of Dallas cuisine have opened up their own place called Shinsei in East Dallas at Inwood Road and Lovers Lane. They plan on doing it right, too, as they've brought in Shuji Sugawara as the executive sushi chef after successful stints at Tei Tei Robata Bar and Teppo Yakitori and Sushi Bar. The menu will be Pan-Asian and will primarily feature an extensive and creative sushi selection. Both Fearing and Rathburn have previous experience in the restaurant business in largely management capacities but are looking forward to spreading their wings with Shinsei. This is certainly a place to keep an eye on.
