Steak........
By nmitchell3 on 02/20/2007
I was so very UN impressed. The steak was very thin, not even an inch thick, not cooked to my request, and horribly expensive for a not so good piece of steak. Everyone at my table agreed. Nancy Mitchell

Sub-par steakhouse
By skiller420 on 02/15/2007
Another steakhouse thinking that it can charge an arm and a leg based on reputation. The Cote Du Boeuf couldn't hold a candle to a steak bought from the local butcher shop prepared on my own grill. It was filled with connective tissue; not tender at all. It's hard to **** up a bone-in ribeye, too. I went with a party of 15; I don't need to tell you how much the bill was. The owner, Bob, didn't ask us how our meal was once. I know he was there because I saw his picture on the wall everywhere and he was just kind of standing there doing nothing. Some drunk guy was falling down (literally) in front our table, almost knocking down a patron. I had to get up to ask the manager to see him out; while she just stood there and acted like she was too busy. Lucky for him, he didn't bump into me while I was eating my steak. You don't **** with a Georgia boy and his steak. The only reason this place got two stars from me is because the waitress was competant and the hostess had a nice ass.

A True Has Been!!

Who is Bob Sambol paying off? The place WAS a great steakhouse for years, BUT NOT NOW!! Crappy service punctuated by a noise level that will wake the dead! Steaks were less than prime, not cooked as requested, and you would of thought we'd insulted the Pope! If atletes want to keep the place in biz, fine, but those of us that know Dallas, will glide on down the road to Al Biernat's for a real fine dining experience!

LIVING ON REPUTATION ALONE!

BOB'S AT ONE TIME WAS THE BEST IN DALLAS, BUT SORRY TO SAY, BOB AND CREW ARE WASHED UP. SERVICE HAS FALLEN OFF AFTER THE BREAK UP OF THE OWNERSHIP GROUP, QUALITY OF BEEF NOT NEARLY PRIME AND EVEN THE DRINKS SEEM TO BE UNDERPOURED! OUR BOOTH HAD RIPS IN THE LEATHER WHICH YOU DON'T EXCPECT AT A PLACE THAT CHARGES HIGH PRICES, AND THE GLORY DAYS ARE GONE GONE GONE!!!
