Terrazzo floors, pink marble-topped tables, Oriental rugs, paintings by the masters hung casually on the walls -- if you weren't greeted by a pretty blonde with a Texas drawl, you might think you'd been whisked off to Italy. That's precisely the idea behind Patrizio. The garden terrace strives to block out the big-city feel (and parking-lot view) with a gurgling fountain, lush trees and an ivy-covered, iron gate. The restaurant's address is an indication of the kind of people you'll find at Patrizio. Shoppers spill in after a hard day at Chanel and Prada; Park Cities residents stop by for a long lunch or quick dinner. Management says 85 percent of customers are regulars, attracted by quality food and prices even a miser would love. The menu is mainstream, with nothing so fancy as to intimidate. Spaghetti, ravioli, ziti and lasagna are all safe, but flavorful -- sort of like the bar traffic. -- Allison Hatfield

I'm new to Dallas and was introduced to Patrizio's by some regulars. The ambiance was perfect for our leisurely lunch. The cuisine was excellent. Add me to the regulars list.

As a tourist from Oregon, I found my way to PATRIZIOS Aug 29th,2003 thru my son who reccommended it after eating there himself while on business from California. I went on a Friday afternoon, all by myself. dressed in my WAL-MART fashions and felt as tho I fit in perfectly with the casual atmosphere. I ordered the pasta luncheon special that happened to be the Black Pepper Linguini, I would give my soul to be able to re-create that dish, it was wonderful. I also orderd some brushcetta which I was rather dissappointed with, but the bellini that accompanied my lunch was wonderful. Being a tourist and deciding to splurge I asked for the dessert menu and selected the fruit brulee, that was wonderful but after studying the menu, that my great waiter slipped to me, I noticed to my dismay that the fruit was to be served with a biscotti. That would have been so good with the nice rich cup of coffee I was served.I would certainly go there again anytime I was in that area.

Beautiful restaurant, but food on this vist was just so-so. Being rushed, poor service and too noisey are three reasons I will not be back.

This place is not about the food, but it does deliver reasonably priced, quality meals. The atmosphere is Dallas at it's hippest.
