Big Bob Gibson's Bar-B-Q   

There is no better BBQ in the state of Alabama, and possibly the entire country than Big Bob Gibson's in Huntsville and Decatur. The meat is perfect. The sauce is perfect. The baked potatoes are huge and always baked to a perfect texture. If you have never eaten at Gibson's, you are living a deprived life.

I was born and raised in Trinity, Alabama. As a child I can remember enjoying meals at bbGibson's. In recent times I find the Meat to be cold, dry, and ineatable.

I WAS BORN AND RAISED IN DECATUR, AND STILL LIVE HERE TODAY. AND AS LONG AS IVE EATTEN BARBQ.. I STILL CAN REMEMBER MR. BIG BOB SITTING IN HIS CHAIR, AND AFTER DAD PAID FOR OUR MEAL, HE'D ALWAYS HAND OUT THAT SPECIAL TREAT OF SWEET BUBBLE GUM FOR ALL THE KIDS AND HED ALWAYS ALWAYS GIVE ME A BIG HUG BEFORE I LEFT. BUT I WOULD ALWAYS GET A SANDWICH CHIPS AND A DRINK EVERY TIME.. I WAS IN HEAVEN!! SO FOR TO RATE THIS PLACE EXCELLENT WOULDNT DO THIS PLACE JUSTICE... SO IF YOU HAVENT TRYED IT ATLEASE ONCE, PLEASE GO AND GIVE IT A TRY... YOULL WALK AWAY WITH A SMILE ON YOUR FACE, AND HOPEFULLY GET AT THE END THAT SWEET PIECE OF PINK DELIGHT, BUBBLE GUM.. TO TOP IT ALL OFF WITH.....

they just opened a new big bob's in monroe, nc, off of 74... if anyone's interested. just thought i'd share since there seems to be a lot of big bob fanatics 'round here. =]
