You'll find the comfortable, warm-wooded restaurant filled with a crowd as diverse as the menu there for a special occasion or a casual gathering. The nostalgic feel, including the sounds of Big Band 30's and 40's coupled with a current menu with generous portions gives the Denver Chophouse its approachable, yet upscale contemporary style. Handcrafted ales brewed onsite, small batch bourbons, and a fine array of single malt scotches all add to the Chophouse tradition.

We were able to get in fairly easy, since we had a reservation, even though we were late. owever, after we were seated, it took fully five minutes before we saw our waiter. The service only got worse after that. My steak was still mooing when it was served, and my husband thought he was eating leather. We were sadly diappointed.

The epitome of a place living far too long on its reputation. Service was bad, food was worse. My steak was not properly cooked, and when I told the server, they re-cooked the same steak, an unheard of practice for a steak that was overcooked to begin with. Someone needs to teach the cooks what medium-rare should be.

Is a medium rare steak burned on the outside and raw in the middle? These people seem to think so....A long wait, bad service and a bad attitude...We threw down our silverware and walked out.
