As flower shops go, More Flowers is unusual in that it places art above cute. Here are the rules: no balloons, no teddy bears, no fluff, no filler. And you won't find the typical "florist" selection either: no baby's breath, mums or contrived arrangements. Rather than filler, More Flowers offers freshly cut flowers in natural, full bouquets. Specializing in orchids and tropical flowers from Singapore, Thailand and Hawaii, the shop is known for its artistic designs that are clean, dramatic and unusual. Unlike other flower shops, More Flowers makes local deliveries only (Denver area) and does not offer a wire service. Instead, customers can send the More Flowers Gift Box, a box (literally) of flowers sent by express mail that are opened and arranged by the receiver. Located just north of Downtown Denver (on a hill overlooking the city center), the flower shop is light, airy and, no surprise, full of color.
