Pizza is great New York pizza, but as an expert on meatball sandwiches, there are no better ones this side of the Mississippi. Crips fresh bread, plenty of sauce and melted cheese but the meatballs are to die for. Large, soft with just the rght balance of everything. You won't be disappointed.

Peppino's is one of those 'hole in the wall' Italian resturants that you always want to find for great pizza.I always like to get the regular crust peperoni and mushroom. However, the other ingredients are terrific! Try a italian sausage and onion pizza....To die for!!!! The owner is Italian and he really knows his pizza. No cheap ingredients,including the cheese. The sauce is the real thing and the cheese is not the cheap stuff. The other Italian dishes are great too but the pizza is what I go in for. Growing up in New York, I am always in search of 'Real Pizza' and Peppino's has it! Frank, the owner, loves his regular customers and always teases you when you call in to order. No matter what you order, he tells you that you have ordered a cheese pizza heavy on the anchovies.... Amazingly enough, the pizza you ordered is piping hot and ready to eat when you get there...only with anchovies if YOU ordered them.
