By most accounts, you cant go wrong at the local cantina. Many an office-type has spent many a happy hour here. The Bonnet is also a sure-fire date spot, and the perfect place for a drink before a show at Hermans. Bordering on legendary status, this former neighborhood watering hole is now an institution, serving margaritas and buckets of beer for more years than one can count. Whether you call the food a tribute to Mexican culture or cheap greasy bar food, you cant deny the appeal. Your best bet? Try a weekday night for a mellow feel. And if youre up for the din of a crowd, try a Friday happy hour. Who doesnt like the noise of people having a good time? -- Amy Lewis

Great People
We held our rehearsal dinner here and were treated like royalty. Love the shredded beef dishes and three of us couldnât finish the grand nachos. The owner and his staff always make sure that everything is satisfactory by stopping at every table during lunch.
mediocre food
Food is mediocre at best and the wait staff are rude and arrogant.
