Even the service is a cut above: engaging, solicitous, skillful and wonderfully patient. The extensive menu offers juice-popping pork dumplings, myriad noodles dishes, multiple soups, and a host of chicken and meat plates, all of which are artistically presented on modern, stark white tablewear. Sample perfectly executed dishes like the Chongqing chicken -- crisp, garlic-infused squares of tender meat tumbling with mouth-searing chilies, or the pungent smoked pork with fresh string beans.
