Tucked into the quaint little town of Edgewater, the Edgewater Inn has been serving up cold beers and delicious pizza for decades. The same family recipe has been satisfying pizza addicts since the '50s, and you can order your pizza with either thin, regular or thick crust, so there's no excuse to not like it. The jalapeno and onion pizza is especially delicious but don't forget the Altoids. The Inn is a small place, with a bar in the center surrounded by booths and a few tables. It's filled with beer-swilling blue-collar types and a new influx of yuppies from the nearby "new and cool" neighborhoods. Grab a seat at the bar and watch the Avs play or any other game du jour because there's always something on. They serve giant schooners of icy cold Coors, Coors Light and Killians and have a full bar to boot. -- Ann Bender

Bad service and bad management. Orginazation of resturant is terrible. To small too much smoke and the food isn't as good as it used to be.

Great Mom 'n Pop Italian

Quality ingredients make this a great pizza. The crust is consistently crisp, not chewy. The sausage and homemade meatballs are top-notch. The sauce is a top-secret, homemade recipe that has stood the test of time-some forty-five years here alone. One specialty is the 'Howdy Paisano,' or just called the 'Howdy.' It's sausage, mushrooms, black olives and the kicker-- jalopeno peppers. It's the most popular specialty in the house. They call them 'canoles,' but are made with calzone-type ingredients. The sandwiches are inexpensive, with the meatball and sausage being the best. Overall, it has a great neighborhood feel, with many regular customers who've been frequenting this place for decades. If you like the food and atmosphere at Bonnie Brae Pizza, you'll love it here.
